I thought hard about how to explain myself but realized I've already done so numerous times before, never to my complete satisfaction.  It seems to me that a self-characterization doesn't take long to become a self-advertisement, and for it to be genuine it need be anecdotal so you can draw your own inference from an event that invites interpretation.

Mansarovar is a lake in Tibet, at the foot of Mt. Kailash, the home of Lord Shiva.  Literally the name means Lake Man, but for me it's a name I consider strength- and peace-giving, like the lake itself.
